  5. Somewhere on the Welsh coast, as this area is apparently beautiful, and I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing and exploring this area.

  7. Absolutely anywhere in the UK as long as the sun is shining.
    swimming in the sea, relaxing on the beach, a stroll to a country pub and a ploughmans lunch washed down with a few pints of the local brew. Then back to the beach to sleep it off

  8. Hope Cove in South Devon – a fantastic picturesque, former fishing village with sheltered sandy beaches

  9. Brixham in Devon. The town is itself is great with its picturesque harbour and lots of interesting independent shops and it also has amazing countryside all round, especially along the river Dart

  10. Weymouth is the place for me. Dorset is my favourite English county. Full of butterflies in summer.

  11. St Ives is the place for me! I went there for a week 20 years ago. Since then I have been to other British seaside towns but I still prefer St Ives.

  13. Goodness, nominate a seaside break?? SO MANY places to try, though we’ve been to a fair few. Somewhere near Poole perhaps, that sort of Weymouth, Wareham part of the world, great scenery.

  14. North Berwick is hard to beat.
    It has a clean beach, picturesque harbour from which you can get boat trips, the Seabird Centre and an unspoilt High Street.

  15. I would like to go to Blackpool, whenever I see it on the tv it looks full of like and brings back childhood memories of day trips to the seaside

  16. Bognor Regis as I have never been to West Sussex but have read good reviews of that part of the world.

  20. I would like to try some Northern seaside resorts, maybe Scarborough? I live near Kent and visit the West country regularly so this would be so different.

  28. A derby Creek in Lincolnshire where we spent holidays as children. I would love to relive those memories and see the changes

  29. I’d choose Margate for the Turner Gallery as well as the other seaside attractions and coastal scenery.

  30. The Lake District is an area I have never explored and this would be a great opportunity to do so.

  31. Likely Brighton as iy has something for everyone and if it gets overwhelming there are lots of pretty small places around it

  32. The beach at Bamburgh Castle is just one of my favs as so beautiful and serene.

  35. For me it would either be Tenby with it’s lovely beaches or Dunoon with its scenery…

  36. Bournemouth is just the ultimate seaside place. Soft, golden and endless beaches, wonderful pier and such a beautiful prom. Summertime perfection
