✨ Malta, what a trip! During this year’s annual Silver Travel Conference, hosted by Visit Malta, we explored so many incredible places: Upper Barrakka Gardens, the New Parliament Building, St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster’s Palace, the Three Cities, and Mdina. Staying at the 5⭐ Marriott Hotel in Valletta made it all so easy and comfortable.
To walk in Malta is to walk through time—ancient temples, medieval fortresses, and sunlit shores that take your breath away.” And that’s exactly how it felt.
Some of the highlights:
🏞️ Upper Barrakka Gardens – The views over the Grand Harbour and the Three Cities are simply stunning—it’s one of those spots where you just have to stop and take it all in.
🏛️ New Parliament Building – I was struck by how modern and sleek it looks right in the middle of historic Valletta. A fascinating mix of old and new!
⛪ St. John’s Co-Cathedral – walking inside was incredible. The Baroque interiors, the artwork, the detail!
🏰 Grandmaster’s Palace – You can almost feel the presence of the Knights of St. John walking through these halls.
🏘️ The Three Cities – Vittoriosa (Birgu 💖 my absolute favorite!), Senglea, and Cospicua. Cobblestone streets, quaint harbors, and old-world charm!
🏰 Mdina – the “Silent City” 🕰️ is magical. Wandering its quiet streets felt like stepping into another world entirely.
Malta really stays with you. Every corner has a story, every view takes your breath away. I can’t wait to come back and explore even more. 🌊☀️
