Julie began her travel career over 35 years ago with Thomas Cook, quickly moving into retail management and running several West Midlands stores. She led their first new-concept store for over a decade, building it into one of the UK’s top ten.

She later launched her own business with Travel Counsellors, supporting loyal clients, many of whom followed her, for more than eight years.

Throughout her career, Julie has received numerous awards, including the 2022 TIPTO Best Independent Travel Agent.

She joined Silver Travel Advisor in September 2022, where she helps grow the homeworking team while continuing to support colleagues and service her own clients.

Get to know me

I started my career in travel over 35 years ago!

I have been lucky enough to travel to many destinations during my career and some of my favourites include Australia and New Zealand, Mexico and Sri Lanka, as well as St Lucia and Barbados.

 

My areas of expertise

  • Tailor-made and bucket list trips I love to share my knowledge of destinations and products with both my customers and our homeworking team  and especially enjoy putting together tailor made and bucket trips. I like to turn a customer’s dreams into reality, and nothing is too much trouble.
  • Canary Islands & Cyprus I have travelled to the Canaries and Cyprus (East and West coasts) many time in recent years on family holidays.
  • Cruising I am a big fan of cruising and have first-hand experience of many of the leading cruise lines, including family and luxury Ocean and River cruises.
