Seattle Tacoma Airport Investment Delivers A World Class Boost for Alaska Cruising

After a $4.6 billion five-year capital investment program, visitors to Washington State, the City of Seattle, and Alaska-bound cruise guests, arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) will experience the brand-new airport International Arrivals Facility (IAF) this year.

This development elevates the already award-winning facility to a world class airport, and features an aerial passenger walkway giving expansive views of Washington state extending the public space to four times its original size by creating a 450,000-square-foot Grand Hall. What a fantastic start to your holiday or cruise!

The passenger experience is further transformed by enhanced technology enabling faster clearance through Customs and Immigration; larger carousels speed, increased baggage processing and more international boarding gates (up from 12 to 20). Overall, these new airport facilities double airport passenger capacity at SEA.
