I was very wary of a Travelodge as so many of them have disastrous reviews, that I was not expecting much. However we needed somewhere to rest our head so we booked it and we were not disappointed. It was a nice building and had an "old" feel to the outside. It is next to an old style pub that I think may be a Harvester. There is plenty of parking and the reception was very welcoming. Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the back of the building and it was very quiet. It was perfectly clean, we had ample bedding. There was tea/coffee in the room and a request for more tea bags was met with a smile and a handful of tea and milk handed over. All in all a good place to stay just a few minutes off the M42 motoroway. We paid £27.00 for the night so no complaints from us.
