A Taste Of Sidmouth is a little cafe in the centre of the town which sells amazing ice creams of all imaginable flavours and sizes. The trouble was, because I was on a diet, I could only look and imagine! I saw many people order one however, even though it was January, and they looked like they were very scrumptious!
We managed to get a table in this little cafe, and we had a lunch there. The menu is simple, but the food honest and good. I noticed on the window it had a certificate of excellence from trip advisor.
We usually go for a jacket potato with a filling. They do lots of different ones, I opted for chicken coronation. The portions are generous and are served with a salad. Other options could have been, ham and cheese, beans, chicken mayo with bacon, tuna , etc. You could also have these filling in sandwiches and paninis. Other options were full English breakfasts!
We enjoyed a lovely Americano coffee too. It ticked all the boxes!
It is a popular little cafe, the tables are usually full, which is a good sign. We were lucky to get one , and we’re glad we did!
