Reasons for trip

Have just returned from Center Parcs at Whinfell Forest Cumbria and we had a great meal at the refurbished Rajinda Pradesh Indian restaurant. Most of the restaurants at Whinfell are either chains like Bella Italia or Cafe Rouge and fast food American Diner style places where the food is expensive and typically bland. However Rajinda Pradesh breaks the mould and is an excellent upmarket Indian restaurant. I remember eating at Rajinda Pradesh over 10 years ago and it was bland and unexciting and probably deserved its poor reviews on TripAdvisor. But it has changed into a comfortable, stylish Indian restaurant with an excellent menu and great service. We were originally going to go into Penrith to eat on our last night but the weather forced us to change our minds. An were were very glad that we visited Rajinda Pradesh. Poppadums, starters main courses and some Nan and Rice for 5 people including some soft drinks and a couple of large beers for me came to about £34 a head. The Restaurant is attached to The Sports Plaza and is easily accessable by ramp or stairs.
