The Hurtigruten Ship was excellent. the cabin was clean warm and comfortable but compact. The staff were very friendly , helpful and efficient. The restaurant served excellent food with a good choice. Due to covid restrictions there was plenty of checks and mask wearing. There were a lot of friendly people on board with jigsaws and knitting and crocheting to while away the time, if you hadn’t brought your own. There were some presentations about the arctic. I did not feel the need for “Evening entertainment ” Crossing the Arctic circle was an interesting experience. I would have liked to leave the ship more when churches and museums were open but we docked either early or late. The trips were well organised.
The biggest disappointment was only catching a fleeting glimpse of the northern lights
