Although having been a member of the Holiday Property Bond for many years, this was our first visit to Tigh Mor and it did not disappoint. Located in the heart of the Trossachs (national park) this is a wonderful location to explore. Located just by Loch Achray and a mile from Loch Katrine which is famous for Walter Scott’s “Lady of the Lake”. The nearest towns are Callander (also known fictionally as Tannochbrae) to the east and Aberfoyle to the south (over The Dukes Pass). Stirling with its spectacular castle is not much further (just south of Callendar). Set among glorious mountains and lochs – well worth a visit!
