Reasons for trip

On a recent visit to Albert Dock in Liverpool, we ended up going to “Docklands Fish and Chips”:http://restaurantsnapshot.com/DocklandsFishandChips/ for a late lunch. This chippie is just down from “What’s Cooking”:https://www.silvertraveladvisor.com/review/restaurant/176218, the restaurant where we unsuccessfully tried to eat that day. We shared two fish and chips dinners with mushy peas for about the same price as What’s Cooking. The food was good, the place was very busy and, as a result, not overly clean – we had to clean a table to sit at. The ambience is nowhere near that of What’s Cooking, the dinners are served in cardboard boxes, but at least we received our food. In addition to the few tables inside there is a small patio outside. You also have the option to carry your boxed meal to the opposite side of the building and sit at a bench overlooking the Mersey River and watch the boats go by.
