The Cams Mill is a very pleasantly designed new Bar and Restaurant, stylish and in a good position overlooking the Fareham Creek.
The bar area is a bit small, with some uncomfortable seating which should be improved, and the drinks are a little above average in price, but it is a very pleasant place to sit for a drink and there is a large outside seating area, lovely on a sunny day.
The adjacent Restaurant area is very large with an extensive menu (not cheap) but food here is very hit and miss. There is no doubt that some of their meals are good but some are very poor and they do not seem to have got it quite right – not sure why. Portions are mean, prices high. It is a shame as it is lovely setting and beautifully designed building.
