If you plan on visiting central London over the lead up to Christmas (or at any time of the year!) then be sure to take a break in the Crypt! No, it’s not creepy or cold or depressing but is always buzzing, has great food (did I say especially the soup?) and friendly, helpful staff. There are often events being organised – you can go along and join in with Shoppers Carols this Saturday. The work St Martin’s does for the homeless and vulnerable is nationally renown and it needs supporting – so every time you purchase something in the Cafe or the shop (their cards, gifts, etc are splendid!) you are contributing to the work they do.
