We arranged to meet family at Battersea Power Station to celebrate a birthday. We were a party of three generations. After lunch at one of the restaurants, of which there are many, we took a trip on the Chimney Lift in order to admire the views of London. It was an interesting experience for all of us, from the youngest to the oldest. We oldies enjoyed the historical information pre-boarding and the kids enjoyed the interactive displays. An extension to this area would be appreciated. We had to take 39 steps up to the actual lift – a disabled lift was available, if needed. From there we rode a short way up the elevator and then had a view minutes to admire the views. It’s not the highest tower in London, but still gives an excellent viewing platform and the lift attendant was interesting and entertaining. Sadly, it was all over far too quickly, but was worth the time and money.
