We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the Altis Avenida Hotel in the heart of Lisbon city. You can see, by the photos that I’ve uploaded, how ideal it is. The views of the surrounding area from the rooftop terrace were superb. The magnificant Rossio railway station facade, the Restauradores square, the Rossio square, St Georges Castle and the Tagus River. The location was also ideal for exploring the city with many of Lisbon’s iconic landmarks within easy walking distance.
Our room was luxurious with complimentary premium toiletries and a Nespresso coffee machine. It was really comfortable. The plentiful buffet breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace within this beautifully restored historic building. Our favourite was the Portuguese tarts of course!
What made it extra special was the helpfulness and courtesy of the hotel staff. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
