This museum is the home of Aston Manor Road Transport Museum. It is situated in Shenstone Drive, Aldridge, Walsall. West Midlands , WS9 8TP. Compared to similar museums it is small but there is a surprising variety of different vintage vehicles.
My other half had some business in the area and this was the reason for our visit on that day. I suppose you would call this museum a hidden gem. There were some friendly volunteers to welcome us and we were able to wander around on our own and get information from the boards.
Throughout the year events take place like Bus Running Days and Collectors Fairs. I thought that the various exhibits were very well laid out. It is obvious that the volunteers take great pride in restoring the vehicles. If you are in the Walsall area , they do deserve your support.
