Why do supposedly 4* hotels let you down when everything else is delightful?
Superb facilities, outstanding outlooks but the restaurant staff really needed to up their standards. The menu very limited in variation and substandard for supposedly quality meals. Restaurant Service was extremely poor; we had to continually suggest requirements e.g. “it would be nice if I had a soup spoon to use” some minutes after having it served.
Due to certain issues, at our request, breakfast was provided in our room each day and each day there were problems with missing items or food. And while we understand that time of day is probably a busy time it does not detract from the service that should have been given.
We had considered booking a Reservation for Christmas but unfortunately all the concerns raised at this visit were unacceptable for the prospect of a relaxed, enjoyable, festive atmosphere.
