Gosh, sounds great. As I have not been to Yorkshire then that would be just the right place.
I’d love to try wine tasting around Mount Etna. Sicily, for the unusual character due to the volcanic soil
This vineyard looks lovely. So a day here would be wonderful and not too far to travel,
New Zealand! Dream come true!
It would have to be the Barossa Valley in Australia.
New Zealand for me
New Zealand. We love their wines.
I would love to revisit the vineyards of South Africa, just magical.
It would have to be in Australia, would love to visit the famous Barossa Valley and sample wines in their home.
I’d choose a wine tasting in the rolling vineyards of Tuscany, Italy—where centuries of winemaking tradition meet breathtaking views, delicious local food, and the warm sun, making every sip a moment to savour.
I would love to try some home grown wines and this vineyard in Yorkshire would be a great start. We have given up travelling abroad and are thoroughly enjoying what Britain has to offer especially in Yorkshire where we have two stunning locations booked for later in the year.
A bodega your in southern Spain would be ideal – I’d try every red under the sun!
Ive been to Bordeaux and the fields are like the beautiful art works. I’d definitely go back
I am currently booking a wine tasting trip in Nova Scotia
Italy, home to my favourite wine Pinot Grigio. I would sit under the Italian sun with my husband enjoying some lovely pasta and a glass of vino. Bliss!

The people are so friendly, food and wine exceptional
Would love to visit Italy and visit the vineyards in Tuscany and piedmont for some lovely reds
I’d love to do wine tasting in Chile
Our first road trip in the USA took us to the Napa Valley in Caifornia. We were thrilled to find the Rutherford Hill vineyard and its wonderful selection of wines. As my husband is a Rutherford it would be lovely to go to a proper tasting there as their wines are elusive here. However as he was born in Yorkshire it would be even better to visit a winery in his home county.
Napa
I would love to see the Sula vineyard in India
Madeira. Beautiful island and scenery and flowers. Wines are interesting and fruity
I love the wines of Spain. I would love to enjoy a wine tasting in the Rioja region as you can’t beat a top quality red rioja.

I visited Georgia many years ago and loved their wines – a tour there would be great!
A UK wine tour would be interesting as usually drink wine from hot countries and it isn’t usually that hot in the UK especially Yorkshire
I would choose to go wine tasting in New Zealand if i could go anywhere in the world. Big fan of the Brokenwood mysteries and it’s made it a place I want to visit – especially as the main character also appreciates good wine making.
No offence to Yorkshire, but a little far to travel from Kent for a vineyard tour, wine tasting and lunch as an overnight stay and train journey would far outweigh the wonderful prize: where I live we’re surrounded by vineyards as acres of orchards have been bulldozed and vines planted instead. However, if I could I’d have a holiday to the Alsace region in France and combine a wine tour with visiting places my husband’s ancestors left during the 1790’s.
I would go to one of th greek islands / cyprus where local wines are made
I W0ULD L0VE T0 WIN A T0UR 0F THE VINEYARD IN Y0RKSHIRE, THANKY0U.
Bordeaux , beautiful surroundings, time in a luxury chateau with knowledgeable people enjoying some grand cru as the sun sets
New Zealand
No question, it would have to be New Zealand – home to the most wonderful Sauvignon Blanc wines on the planet. What could be better than enjoying tasting your favourite wine variety in the gorgeous scenery of New Zealand?
I was so lucky to have a trip to Australia last year to see family. It was fabulous to visit Fenian Wines in Victoria run by a dedicated husband and wife team. The wines were fabulous as was the vineyard. Love to go back or visit another vineyard with this great prize.
I would like to visit Tuscany where the best red wines are produced. It has been in my bucket list for some time.
Would love a wine tasting experience in France
I have actually been to Holmfirth Vineyard and was amazed at the quality of wine produced in such a northerly area!
However I would really love to go back to the vineyard I visited in Northern Spain which was on the route of the Camino de Santiago. It would bring back so many memories of a wonderful holiday spent walking parts of the Camino and the feeling of achievement reaching a new town or city each day.
The wine was pretty good too!
I would choose the Rioja region of Spain as it is a wine type that I really enjoy.
South Africa, great vineyards to tour including Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl.
We did a cruise around Australia and NZ and stopped at the all the main wine areas. A wonderful Chardonnay holiday with a few reds thrown in!
A tour of this Yorkshire vineyard would actually be my choice. I know very little about the growth of vineyards in England and would love to learn more and be introduced to new wines.
A vineyard tour anywhere in France, so appropriate and enjoyable.
Portugal: The best wine tasting would be in the Alentejo district of Portugal with the Regengos Red Wine, some of which I have kept for up to 15 years. The tasting is topped by all the corks being produced locally. The wine is so good that the Portuguese drink it all themselves and do not export it!
Paul
I would love to do a wine tour of Australia and New Zealand, having never been to either countries!
I would like a chance to visit a vinery in Chile as i have found one on board Fred Olsen cruises that i like tastes better than some French ones.
Wine tasting in the Barossa Valley near Adelaide would be a once in a lifetime experience.

I would love to win a wine tasting in Sardinia. I tried these wines while in Italy and they were my favourite. I’ve never been to Sardinia but seen images and it looks so natural and unspoiled.
A wine tasting day in the Yorkshire Holme Valley would be ideal for us.
It’s only about 23 miles from where we live!
And they also do overnight accommodation, so if we really wanted to push the boat out and sample as many wines as possible, we wouldn’t have to worry about surviving a taxi ride back home!
Option to treat a visit as a day trip, or a short break away from home.
With wine!! What could be better?!
Georgia, because it is the world’s oldest winemaking country.
Australia, the wines are full of sun and sparkle and I would love to cuddle a koala
Australia – taking Chardonnay to a new level
I would like to taste the chenin blanc in the Franschhoek in South Africa. I visited 30 years ago and have not had the opportunity to return. It has fantastic scenery of towering mountains and retains it’s Provencal character with the odd ostrich to avoid. A wonderful place to sip cold white wine.

Italy, because I am vegetarian and Italian food is the best! To include a wine tour would be lovely!
I would love to visit Burgundy in France, as it represents the home of quality wine to me. There are some world class Burgundian wines, bot Red and white, and it would be an honour and privilege to be able to tray some even if just in a Degustation, those being out of my reach!

France because I heard it’s the best for wine.

The quality of the wine is far more important than the quality of the place! Fortunately many places have exceptional wine!
Would love to head to the Central Otago region on the South Island of New Zealand.
Sipping on a delicious glass of Pinot Noir from Two Paddocks Vineyard would be my idea of Heaven!
Bordeaux, France. Exceptional wines. Beautiful countryside.
Anywhere in southern Europe, to enjoy the wine paired with delicious food, in the sunshine and in beautiful surroundings.
Never done a UK vineyard tour so this would be something new!
Seen Malbec country ( Arg: Mendoza), but a treat awaits for the winner, to visit the beauty & taste of Yorkshire. I’m in.

Visiting a winery by the Margaret River in Perth having a wonderful lunch with excellent wine
Definitely love to do wine tasting in a vineyard in Cape Town, so many vineyards to choose from, but the Stellenbosch and Franschoek routes are my favourite! Spent many happy meanders discovering vineyards on the way and tastings too. Spent a couple of days in September 2024, wandering through vineyards with some of the best wines I have ever tasted.
I’d love a wine tasting tour in Australia, but Yorkshire would do!
South of France
France
I would normally say Italy because I’ve recently visited there and tasted some wonderful wines. I wonder how Yorkshire wines would compare?
What a wonderful prize, I’d love to win a tasty meal & wine tasting!
It would have to be Tuscany with the combination of fantastic red wine, beautiful countryside and amazing food this would be the perfect trip !
I would love to experience wine-tasting at Denby’s, near Dorking in Surrey. I spent several years of my childhood living near there – in the late 60s – early 70s. Of various places where I grew up, I have the best memories of that area. I used to cycle up the hill where the vineyard was later planted. I have hardly been back since, and only seen the vineyard from the train. I would really enjoy tasting the fruits of the soil which was once a little way from my backyard. What is the point of travelling hundreds or thousands of miles, when you haven’t seen what’s closer to home?
Fingers crossed xx
I would love to visit the La Mare Wine Estate in Jersey again. Fascinating tours conducted by locals, one of who even spoke the ancient Jerriais language. It’s a unique place which uses local ingredients, grown or produced on the island, in its products. These aren’t limited to their excellent wines; they produce cider, spirit, liqueurs, chocolates, biscuits and the local delicacy, Jersey Black Butter, which is a type of relish, similar to chutney.
My wife and enjoy tasting wines from around the world (and the UK) when we go to our U3A meeting once a month. We find it a good way to try different wines without it costing a fortune or being disappointed with a bottle, just a glass. It’s good fun and very sociable, giving each wine a score and guessing how much they would cost to buy.
The wines we find interesting are wines grown in eastern Europe such as Georgia, Romania and Hungary. So we would like to go wine tasting in Transylvania and explore a country a little less busy with tourists.

Fingers crossed to win the tour in Yorkshire as I am on recovering from cancer treatments.
What could be more delightful than France Food and wine. Maybe a Birthday treat for me please?
If I could go anywhere in the world for a wine tasting it would be to Casita Miro on Waiheke Island ,just off Auckland on North Island ,New Zealand. It is in a beautiful area, close to the sea and serves the most fantastic tapas food to go with the lovely wines.
California – so many gorgeous coastal towns to explore as well as sipping Californian wines in the sunshine!
Like wine, like Yorkshire. So it will be grand.
D’you know, I’ve never been to a Yorkshire vineyard, so that would be my choice, especially as I wouldn’t have to fly to get there.
My perfect location would be New Zealand to taste all the Sauvignon Blancs that they keep for their own consumption – that would be heaven.
The Yorkshire vineyard visit would be fantastic because I have visited vineyards all over the world but never in the UK. 🙂
I would love to return to Chile to taste some more of their wonderful wines. I had a vineyard tour there in 2006 which was amazing. Love the country, love the food and wine and love the people. My favourite restaurant in Santiago was Giratorio – I hope it’s still there.

I would love to taste the wines of Italy
Yorkshire – home territory, nothing to beat it!
A Vineyard tour for two in Chile, new world wines !
Napa Valley for a lovely red Zinfandel would be amazing!
Imagine California’s Napa Valley. The thrum of insects in the undergrowth; serried rows of vines draping the rolling hills, as far as the eye can see; the generous pouring of thick, ruby liquids into chinking glasses, the setting sun illuminating the cedar-clad landscape. I don’t have to imagine it, it’s imprinted on my memory, for I was there!
New Zealand – love their wine & the scenery looks wonderful
I would love a visit to france or Belgium for wine tasting
Italy
The
Amazing
Land
Yes!
South Africa!
After cruising we have we have sampled European wines in their countries of origin. After holidaying in the south and south west we have sampled English wines in their home counties; except Yorkshire. Despite living in South Yorkshire, we have never tasted a Yorkshire wine, in Yorkshire. We have tasted Madelaine Angovine, which , we understand, is a grape used in Yorkshire but know little about it. Tasting Yorkshire wine at a Yorkshire vineyard would be akin to tasting rhubarb within the triangle.
Apropos of nothing, it seems a shame that we have a far bigger choice (or even chance) of having English wine on P&O than we have at hotels and restaurants.
If I could attend a wine tasting event anywhere in the world I think it would have to be in France. France has been a world leader in the production of wine for many years and I could think of nothing better than to be relaxing in the French countryside with a glass of wine in hand taking in the smell of nature.
In the vineyards of California – a bucket list destination!
I have been in vineyards in twelve countries but never one in Yorkshire !. Since Yorkshire people are straight talking there wont be any B******T !.
I would love a cruise on the Douro in Portugal with visits and tastings at some of the beautiful vineyards in the Douro Valley.
California would be my No 1 choice, but with Trump in charge a big No No for a few years. Secondly:- The Provence area:- the area and surroundings have great village wines all worth a close look and trying in their local vinyards.
The South of France is a beautiful area which I have visited years ago on a French language immersion trip and tasted many lovely wines, also the Champagne region (for obvious reasons!)
I’d love to visit the Marlborough wine region in New Zealand, I adore their Sauvignon Blancs. To visit NZ again would be a dream, I last visited in 1992 and wasn’t aware of the wine region back then as production was very small (& I was very young and not a seasoned wine drinker!)
Puglia , Italy… My favourite wines
New Zealand, sample the wines and see where my grandmother once emigrated to!
I would like to visit Portugal for a wine tasting
If you could enjoy a wine tasting anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? New Zealand, as it’s an interesting place and could visit friends there at the same time!
New Zealand wines are so laidback; just like the locals
