I’d go to Torquay because I’ve never been, it’s where my grandparents used to go and I adore Fawlty Towers.
Eastbourne, as I’ve stayed there before and had a lovely time
Torquay would be fantastic
Newquay, it’s simply the Best place to be.
Brighton always has something going on whatever the weather
Llandudno is such a special place for me and my hubby
Blackpool…it offers so, so much, and its illuminations add that final touch!
Although I live in West Wales I still think our coastal resorts are the best. Aberporth for me.
Llandudno; my family on my mum’s side come from North Wales and I love to go back there as often as I can as I am now the oldest living one in my family
Llandudno. Wales has my heart!
I would visit Torquay because I have never been there before and also the Daish’s Abbey Lawn Hotel has a Swimming Pool.
North wales
I’d go for the Isle of Wight! It’s been on my list of places I’d like to visit for quite some time.
Would love to explore the Isle of Wight as I have never been. Lots of interesting places to visit with some lovely places to swim. Many thanks!
Bournemouth as my friend lives there and my sister isn’t too far away
Isle of Wight as so many happy memories there
Eastbourne. I’ve never explored that area of the country before and I’d love to check out all the Victorian architecture. Even better, that it is the UK’s sunniest resort!
I would choose Scarborough as I’ve never been there and always fancied it
Blackpool, it looks so fun and I’ve never been before
Weymouth because it’s not too far from us and we like visiting Radipole Lake RSPB reserve in the town
I’d go to Eastbourne area and take some walks to Seven Sisters. Used to do it and it was a happy time, would be trying to return the feeling
Blackpool
I have never been to Scarborough, but heard so many good things about it and it looks so nice – I have always fancied visiting Scarborough – it is our Golden Wedding this Oct so this would be a nice wee treat for ourselves on our 50th anniversary.
Torquay, we went there many years ago and loved it
Salcombe has great shops and cafes
Llandudno – I have Welsh heritage and would love to see where they came from
I would choose the Isle of Wight there is so much to see and the local bellringers are very welcoming to visitors.
I’d be happy to win a trip to go anywhere but Blackpool. 😀 Just need a holiday. X
Llandudno because ot the beautiful walks and good public transport
Weymouth as its our fave place in the uk
Port Seton, East Lothian. beautiful part of the country and easy access to Edinburgh
Llovely Llandudno!!
Llandudno is easy to get to, no matter where you are in the UK.
Llovely scenery, lluscious green spaces, llong promenades for lleisurely walks….
Being three-quarters Welsh, the unique llandscape around Llandudno is a great base to revisit my family history.
Llandudno! Llet’s go!! 🙂
As I live in Canada, I’m not very familiar with the variety of coastal destinations in the UK. But I’ve read of the picturesque town of Deal on the SE coast, so I believe that should be my first visit. For several years – since I retired – I’ve been travelling to London twice a year for theatre & the galleries. Always something thrilling.
I have friends in Weymouth, who I would love to reconnect with
I would choose Weymouth because I have been there briefly once before and because the journey is not too bad
The Isle of EWight would be a dream to travel to.
I’d probably go to Weymouth as I haven’t stayed there since 1970 and there’s lots to see and do in that area of Dorset; if I didn’t want to do the coach trip option I could easily get a train from Canterbury with a simple change in London.
We’ve been on several Daish’s coach trips over the last few years and look forward to our next one which we haven’t booked yet. Our favourite hotel (and the first we went to with Daish’s) is on the Isle of Wight. It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and very easy to get around the island on a bus.
Whitby for me Fond memories great coastline with lots of places to visit and enjoy.
‘Torquay’
As I am just in the process of booking a holiday with Daish’s Holidays at one of their two Torquay based hotels!
I would go to Eastbourne, just got back from there, staying at the Imperial Hotel.
It’s just off the sea front appx 2 mins walk, the staff and food are of a really good standard
Bournemouth is always an excellent choice. Plenty to see and do, and miles of great beaches to either get active or just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I live in a city so escaping to the coast every so often is a life saver.
Falmouth or anywhere in Cornwall. I love that county, the history, culture and scenery
Scarborough sounds enticing boasting Britain’s first seaside resort. To imagine medieval life and the famous ‘Scarborough Fair’ song. Adventure, history and enjoyment all rolled into one! I’m ready and waiting, Daish
I would choose the Isle of Wight as I was born there but haven’t been back for many years. It holds lots of wonderful memories of my family and endless days on the beach at Ryde; cockling, playing in the sand, and watching when the Queen Mary or Queen Elizabeth sailed by and waiting for the huge wave that they left in their wake.
Tenby, there is always a great event happening there, amazing walks, beaches and restaurants
I would choose the Esplanade in Scarborough. I think it’s the best coastal resort and I have so many happy memories from there.
Holiday in Tuscany!
The Isle of Wight as I’ve never been and this would be the incentive to go.
I would love to go to Llandudno as the beach looks wonderful and there are great attractions around and about
I love Blackpool walking along the front
Love to visit Cornwall as it is beautiful
I fancy Ireland as I have never been
Newquay as it brings back happy memories of holidays goneby
Weymouth for the beautiful interesting coastal scenery and nice clean beaches.
Yay! Cornwall is my favorite
Bournemouth for me
Would love to see the Irish coast
Eastbourne for the walks and theatre
Torquay as my favourite and reasonably close
Newquay Cornwall, I love the Cornish coast and a pasty and cream tea is good also
