Arrive Delhi

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

As the capital of India, Delhi is the third largest city with a population of approximately 18 million. Its strategic location along the north-south, east-west route has given it a focal position in Indian history and many great empires have been ruled from here. The monuments and ruins of
these are scattered throughout the city, often cheek by jowl with modern structures and high-rise towers.

Delhi

After breakfast, visit the iconic Lotus Temple in New Delhi, a lotus-shaped Bahá’í House of Worship set amid 26 acres of lush lawns, renowned for its serene prayer hall and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

In the afternoon, enjoy a hands-on cooking class followed by lunch, then proceed to Gandhi Smriti, the historic site where Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated.

The day concludes with an evocative Kathak dance musical narrative depicting a timeless saga of romance, followed by an authentic Indian barbecue dinner at Angare.

Day 4
Saturday 28 November 2026

Delhi

After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, beginning in Old Delhi with an exterior view of the Red Fort, a walk through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, and a visit to the grand Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, admired for its impressive domes, minarets, and vast courtyard.

Continue to India Gate, a memorial honoring Indian soldiers of World War I, followed by a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a mid-16th-century Mughal garden tomb that inspired later monuments including the Taj Mahal.

Conclude the day at the lively Connaught Markets, known for their wide array of shopping, from textiles and handicrafts to jewellery and homewares.

Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, meet your guide and transfer from Delhi to Agra, the former Mughal capital and home of the world-famous Taj Mahal, once celebrated for its grand gardens, waterways, and architectural splendor and now also known for its carpet and handicraft traditions.

Upon arrival, visit the impressive Agra Fort, a vast red sandstone complex built by Emperor Akbar along the Yamuna River, showcasing an architectural evolution from Akbar’s robust style to the refined elegance of Shah Jahan’s era.

Continue sightseeing with a visit to Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, known as the “Baby Taj,” a graceful white-marble monument adorned with intricate inlay work that foreshadowed the artistry later perfected in the Taj Mahal.

Day 6
Monday 30 November 2026

Agra to Ranthambhore

Rise early to experience the Taj Mahal at sunrise, witnessing the white marble glow in the gentle morning light; this iconic mausoleum, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz, is a timeless monument to love.

After returning to the hotel for breakfast and freshening up, visit a marble inlay workshop to learn the intricate craftsmanship behind the Taj Mahal’s decorations.

Later, explore Fatehpur Sikri, the “Ghost City” built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 14 years due to water scarcity, where you can admire well-preserved structures such as the Jama Masjid, Salim Chisti’s tomb, and the Panch Mahal Palace, reflecting the grandeur of the Mughal Empire.

The day concludes with a transfer to your hotel for check-in and leisure time.

Tigers are iconic in India, and spotting one in the wild is a holiday highlight. Enjoy shared or private morning and afternoon safaris in the park to glimpse these majestic creatures.

Ranthambhore to Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur and check in to your hotel, with the remainder of the day free to relax.

Established in 1727 as Mughal influence waned, Jaipur—now the capital of Rajasthan—is famously called the “Pink City” because of the distinctive pink-colored buildings in its historic center, originally painted to resemble Mughal red sandstone and to impress the Prince of Wales during his 1876 visit.

Jaipur

Begin the day with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal, the “Palace of the Winds,” built in 1799 for the royal ladies to observe street life unseen.

Continue to Amer Fort, where a Jeep ride takes you to the entrance of this yellow and pink sandstone and marble fortress, exploring highlights such as the Jag Mandir and the famed Sheesh Mahal.

In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, the former royal residence, and the nearby Jantar Mantar Observatory, home to 17 large, still-functional astronomical instruments.

Before returning to the hotel, enjoy some shopping in Jaipur’s walled city, with the evening free at leisure.
