Due to the current travel restrictions that have been put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, Cosmos have unfortunately had to cancel the Old South and Florida special departure with David Wickers, previously offered as the prize for this draw. Instead they are offering two places on their standard yet still wonderful Old South and Florida tour, due to depart on a number of dates in 2021.
Including flights from London, transfers, accommodation, the services of the Tour Director, and six breakfasts and one dinner, this 13-day tour is perfect for any music lover: you will soak up Old South rhythms in New Orleans, visit the Sun Studio, birthplace of rock ’n’ roll, in Memphis and enjoy a show in your reserved seat at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry!
History buffs will enjoy visiting not only St. Augustine, but also the Old World city of New Orleans, with its clanging streetcars, stately mansions, and French Quarter. There is a visit to a pre-Civil War home in Natchez, which features fine collections of period furniture and paintings, and a stop at the grave and eternal flame dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr in Atlanta. A trolley tour in Savannah highlights many attractions of this historic seaport, including Madison Square, designed in the 1830s.

Simply add a comment at the end of this page to say why you would love to visit the Deep South, and our judges will pick the best comment at the end of March 2020. The winner will be notified in early April and must be available to travel on this tour on one of a selection of 2021 dates, to be confirmed.
Terms & conditions: This prize is for two people sharing a twin room on the 13-day Old South and Florida tour departing on a selection of 2021 dates. Return flights from London in Economy Class are included, as are overseas transfers and porterage, selected meals, accommodation and the services of a Tour Director as listed in the itinerary here. The prizewinner is responsible for arranging and funding their own ESTA/visa, insurance and passport arrangements. Travel to/from the London airport and gratuities for the Tour Director, Local Guides and driver on tour are not included in the prize. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be substituted. The prizewinner and guest must both be fit to travel and will be subject to Cosmos Tours Ltd’s standard booking conditions. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Cosmos reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. Employees of Cosmos Tours Ltd and Silver Travel Advisor are not eligible to enter.
