The sun was shining at the Silver Travel Show in March when members and guests took the opportunity to visit travel experts for an informative and enjoyable day out, as well as to meet and listen to TV Personality John Carter.
The Silver Travel team were there in force along with our exhibitors Holland America Line, Forest Holidays, Collette, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays, Frontier Holidays, English Holiday Cruises, Sunvil, The Carter Company, Last Frontiers and Cruise & Maritime Voyages.
The setting was beautiful and historic Hartwell House on the outskirts of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, and there was also a wonderful line-up of guest speakers to talk about their travel experiences, including our patron, John Carter, former presenter of The Holiday Show and Wish You Were Here.
Our guests enjoyed complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and spent an enjoyable day listening to the experts as well as exploring the beautiful grounds at Hartwell. And some chose to end the day with visit to nearby Waddesdon Manor or Blenheim Palace.
