I had only intended to pay a quick visit to the park on the way to Leeds, having never been that way before. However I found myself there for several hours. There are lovely walks around the park, lots of interesting exhibits and opportunities to spot wildlife. Although the weather was not great it was good to see lots of families enjoying the fresh air and exercise, some of them even picnicking. There are indoor exhibits and a lovely shop. Would recommend as a family day out.
