I did not enjoy York's Chocolate Story at all. It felt like I was back at college, listening to a very dull lecture! There were not enough seats for everyone on our tour, so I spent most of the tour stood up. The final section was a free for all with people from the previous tour still waiting for their chocolate demonstration. There was very little to do or look at, and our group just looked bored. Don't visit the toilet unless you absolutely must! It's tiny, with no room to turn around. It was dirty too, and there was no loo roll. There were no menus in the cafe, probably because they don't want you to see the prices. Two drinks and cakes will set you back around £12. £9.50 to get in the attraction may be similar to other attractions, but it's really poor value. Give it a miss and go to the Railway Museum instead, which is free.
