It's not cheap, but it's a wonderful experience. The island is beautiful. The palm trees, white sand and turquoise are there, as you would expect in paradise. Add to this coral reefs and beautiful fish. You can even be taken to your own private island, set up with umbrellas, sun beds and a cool box with chicken, fish, lobster, salads and wine, and decide when you would like to be picked up for the return boat trip. Better still, you have your own private reef right off the beach, to snorkel on.
The accommodation is your own luxury bure (bungalow). Day beds on the verandah and hammocks on the beach.
The food is superb and the staff wonderful. The local choir turn up to entertain you and they have incredible voices. They also arrange visits to a village school and rugby matches. Only about half of the players wear boots.
We're really glad we went.
