Anglesey in early autumn is usually a reasonable bet, weather-wise but not this year. The weather turned just as we went away and I found my packing sadly lacking- I hadn’t expected it to get so cold! But, if you enjoy dramatically wild and windy landscapes, the seabirds of Newbororough nature reserve and the tasty fresh food served in local restaurants, you can’t go wrong on Anglesey.
