Reasons for trip

Health / Spa

My husband booked us a weekend away at this wonderful hotel & spa. I did not know much of the hotel so was unsure what to expect but from the moment we arrived and drove up the drive the grounds and scenery was lovely, we knew straight away we was going to have a lovely stay.

The hotel has four superbly presented golf courses, an amazing spa, hair studio and leisure club, so it really is a break away that will have something to please everyone.
The room was very spacious a large double bed plenty of clothes storage, mini fridge, bath & shower and hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We were also greeted with a bottle of wine in our room on arrival, we had a lovely room over looking the golf course.

The spa is to die for, there is two pools one which has all the sauna steam vapour and ice room all around it. It has everything you can think, the feeling from going from a hot steam room into an ice room to cover yourself with ice is great, and I dare you to pull the chain and empty the freezing cold water over your head, it’s scary it’s cold but it is so worth the experience you must do it. You can experience stimulating heat and ice experiences, soothing therapies and ancient bathing rituals all designed to let you unwind and escape.

There is a number of dining options all being amazing. If you enjoying racing this is a great place for you. You are a stone’s throw from Silverstone, we could hear the racing cars from our room which really did add to the experience. I would recommend Murray’s restaurant, boasting two AA rosettes and the food service and atmosphere was amazing. As the name suggests, Murray’s is a homage to the legendary F1 commentator Murray Walker and whilst you relax in the lounge and during dinner you can reminisce by viewing the collection of photographs with F1 celebrities and some unique anecdotes of his memorable career.

So as I said if your looking for a special night or two away why not look at this fantastic hotel, it’s one of the best breaks away we have ever had. I’m convinced you will not be disappointed, you will go home relaxed pampered well fed and wanting to go back again.
