Virginia Court Hotel is a 3* AA rated hotel in Cromer, North Norfolk. Situated in a quiet tree lined avenue and just three minutes’ walk from the town and five minutes’ walk from the pier and beach. Ideally places for all the amenities including parks and cliff walks.
The hotel itself is a converted Edwardian Club House with 25 ensuite rooms all decorated in a contemporary style and as far as I could see all were spotlessly clean and well cared for. Each room comes with a reasonable size flat screen TV and DVD player, a complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate tray which is replenished on a daily basis.
Each bedroom has a very comfortable bed with hypoallergenic duvets and pillows which looked as though they are pressed every time the room was made up, a very good night’s sleep was had by us both – probably because we were so tired with all the walking.
Options are for bed & breakfast, which we chose, or bed breakfast & evening meal, both of which were served up by very happy and obliging waiting staff. Our breakfasts were not over the top in quantity but the quality was excellent, in fact the hotel is the holder of a silver accolade award for the best British breakfast and is the leading hotel in Cromer.
Trip advisor voted top hotel in Cromer and it’s easy to see why, with comfortable rooms, great food and service, a large free car park, large garden, Wi-Fi throughout and a large comfortable lounge area with a bar.
Not the place to stay if you’re looking for a cheap weeks holiday, rooms start at £137.50 per couple per night for bed & breakfast and £182.50 for full board, prices quoted are from May to September – they do occasionally have special offers so it’s worth checking before booking.
