Reasons for trip

This is an attractive complex along the prom. The arcade of shops has been immaculately restored and includes a stamp shop as well as a very popular cafe which is always busy. There are also old fashioned toilets. Although the 1d in the slot is still on the door, they are now free!

Behind the arcade is an area of grassland with a few trees with a corner display of raised flower beds.

It looks good and there are seats in the gardens – useful to know at the moment while all the work is going on along the prom.
