We have stayed here many times and never been disappointed. This is a hotel that cares, the staff are all there to make your stay excellent.
Firstly you will arrive the concierge will meet you if you can’t get in the car park he will park it up for you (he will either way). The Vermont is a proper hotel with old fashioned class beautiful lounges with comfortable seating with excellent service.
Rooms vary in size with old fashioned charm but with all the modern bits. Good wifi nice White Company toiletries tea and coffee – Ringtons, irons, hairdryers (decent ones), mini bar – rooms above the reception look out over the Tyne bridge.
The hotel has a gym and sauna and on the ground floor a cocktail bar although I think this is for young people but if don’t mind the music they sell great cocktails.
The Vermont is ideally situated for site seeing shopping and if your visiting the Sage or any other event in Newcastle.
Breakfast is buffet but you can order from the menu pay for this when booking in. We have always enjoyed staying here plenty good restaurants in the area .
