I have recently returned from the weekend cruise to Guernsey. Embarkation was quick and smooth. The balcony cabin was spacious and comfortable. The sailaway party was extremely lively as there were a number of hen parties on board. We joined a mixed table for the first formal dinner. The company was delightful. My husband was in his element as he was on a table with seven females, which illustrated the gender imbalance of the trip. The food was okay, but I have had better on cruises. The evening entertainment was excellent and we really enjoyed it. We were fortunate with the weather and spent an interesting day in St Peter’s Port, after a long wait for the tender. The second evening was more relaxed, but the entertainment was disappointing. The final breakfast was a buffet with an excellent choice of food. We were fortunate in arriving early, but those who arrived later struggled to find seats. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience which I would recommend fot people looking for a short break.
