We had two nights at the Two Bridges Hotel on Dartmoor recently. This was a special offer price which included a lovely room with dinner, bed and breakfast. The overwhelming impression was of an extremely friendly helpful bunch of people – nothing was too much trouble and the initial welcome was warm and efficient. Great situation, right in the central area of Dartmoor, so all the sites and places of interest are in easy reach either by car or on foot. The food was really superb, dinner was delicious and varied with fantastic home made breads with olive and pesto dips!! And breakfast included two of our favourites – eggs benedict and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, so spoiled for choice. Would very much recommend this hotel if you are venturing onto Dartmoor for the first time – and it's easy to find!
