I recently stayed at Tower Hill Travelodge in London having booked a few months in advance I paid £76.00 for this room. I had asked for a twin room the only twin rooms were classed as disabled access rooms on the ground floor. We were very happy the room was large and quiet absolutely ideal. I usually try to book the Travelodge in Covent Gardens but this was over £100 as I hadn`t booked early enough. The Tower Hill hotel is just a few minutes round the left side of the tube station. It is hard to spot at first as a cafe/bar nearby has tables and chairs on their patio which actually obscures the Travelodge entrance. Outside the Tower Hill tube station sits the magnificent Tower of London, to the left is Tower Bridge and if you look across the Thames pushing the clouds aside is the impressive Shard. You really are surrounded by fabulous London sights and a few minutes on the tube sees you walking around the South Bank or in the West End. The staff were helpful and a buffet breakfast can be bought for £7.50 which is very good value for London. The hotel is the best Travelodge I have stayed in as it is smaller and much better than the maze of corridors in the larger hotels. Book early for the best deals, you can currently book some dates in August for £40. Amazing value.
