We had a lovely few days in Bath staying at the Travelodge which is a very short walk from the city centre. Our room was fairly standard but more than adequate and the view over the lake and the hill up towards Widcombe was lovely. The food was ok. We only had breakfast and although the coffee was great the food was a little "sad" and the bacon was more like hot ham! The staff were friendly though and extremely helpful and the décor was clean and inviting. We asked if we could bring our little dog with us and they were happy with this with a charge of £5 per night. The other thing we were charged for was the car park at £5 per night. There was plenty of room though and in the centre of Bath £5 for a 24 hour stay is extremely good. We stayed during the music festival so there was a premium charge with no deals to be had. Overall though. it was a very good experience and would recommend this hotel for your stay.
