As fans of Rod Stewart, we were looking forward to the Tonight's the Night musical which is currently touring the UK. My enjoyment of the show was spoiled by a poor script, dubious costumes (some in rather poor taste) and volume levels of the female singers much too loud. Perhaps their body microphones were at fault, or maybe they really did screech – but they ruined some of the songs. I left with a headache. Tonight's Not the Night!
