We have stayed in this hotel for three years running and it is just the most fabulous place in the Alps. It does not have things like evening entertainment, just a wonderful meal in a quiet dining room and a walk up the village before bed. The Alpine air gets us every time. The food is as organic as it is possible to be and the owner Frau Brettermeir makes sure that it is all as healthy as possible. The choice on the buffet for breakfast would make you go weak at the knees. The five courses for dinner are magnificent and you also have a lunch option of soup, pasta, salad and ice cream, plus afternoon tea and cakes or ice cream. It is not the the dieter, that is for sure. We do not eat meat, but there was not problem finding an alternative on the menu each day. There is a wonderful spa (naked) but there is also an outdoor pool and an indoor pool so you can relax in the water. The rooms are of a very good size with variations of price. The valley hotels also partake in the Joker card which allows free cable car and bus access throughout your stay.
We travel with Inghams and their service is always good. We are not going this year as we cannot fly from a local airport to Salzburg, only to Innsbruck but we hope to return there one day.
PS. It is about 1.15hr from airport to resort.
