We have been visiting The Yachtsman for a number of years and it has never disappointed. However, we went today and it has been refurbished and it looks brilliant. It’s all recycled wood and looks nautical but warm and inviting. The food didn’t disappoint either. Home made pie and and wonderful pastas plus all the normal pub fayre. We originally found it as they allow well behaved dogs. There are seats outside as well but during Cowes Week (which is when we visit) the view of the Solent is hampered by the tent village but that doesn’t matter there is plenty of people watching to be enjoyed. Cost is mid range with the main course costing around £12. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.
