Reasons for trip

We were unable to book rooms at The View hotel for the dates we wanted so we booked one of the Premium Cabins instead. They can be found from the menu on The View website. We had some concerns about the cabins and whether it would be warm enough at night but need not have worried.

The cabin was well equipped, clean, comfortable and with most amazing view of The Mittens and Monument Valley. In the mornings we watched the sun rise over The Mittens, during the days we explored Monument Valley and Mystery Valley and in the evenings we had the wonderful night sky to amaze. I have never seen so many stars.

There are two rows of cabins and I recommend asking for one on the front row if possible – although the second row is higher so will probably still have a good view. Parking is available near the cabins and one of the trails through Monument Valley can be reached directly from the cabins.

The View Hotel has a restaurant, snack bar and a gift shop. If you are staying in the cabins take a torch to see your way at night.

If we are lucky enough to visit again I will book one of the cabins rather than the hotel.
