The Ship Inn is a beautiful old village pub, built in the 1690s and full of character. During the 2020 lockdown the landlady, Ali, has kept the pub running for the villagers with a combination of takeaways and deliveries of food and drinks. She is now serving delicious meals and Sunday lunches to meet the substantial meal requirements. The food is very reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Tonight we paid £66 for 10 drinks and 4 meals. Amazing value. The pub also features a BBQ hut which seats up to 16 and which can be hired for private parties.
