Topsham itself is a lovely place to visit with pretty and interesting small shops along the main street leading down to a large antiques market by the waterfront. If you get there at lunchtime the best place to indulge is The Salutation Inn (it does get busy so book if you can) for a truly lovely lunch. The menu is varied and interesting and the service top notch. The surroundings are bright and cheerful sitting under a glass roof. The puddings are displayed to you on a large platter – its sooo hard to choose!
