A visit to The Rock is a must in Gibraltar. Recommend using the cable car £10 for an easy and comfortable return trip. Otherwise the walk up is steep and long. The views from the cable car are spectacular and the view from the Rock is spectacular. Watch out for the famous Barbary apes – whilst they are entertaining and make a good photograph, they are expert pickpockets and can bite.
