The Play That Goes Wrong has been running for some time and I can quite see why.
Even before the opening curtain and lights out the audience are drawn in as an unsuspecting member of the audience is asked to help the ‘stage hands’ on set. So the hilarity starts even before the play has officially started.
A wonderful British farce with excellent comic timing, physicality and over-the-top acting hammed-up to maximum effect. Lots of laughs and highly recommended for a fun-filled evening. Certainly the audience, myself included, were in stitches throughout.
No doubt the Play That Goes Wrong will run for some considerable time to come yet.
