A quintessentially English hotel with a warm welcome and excellent location.

Fine facilities, very good food and excellent staff. The Northfield has an ambience of a country house retreat with a tranquil peaceful atmosphere combined with unobtrusive service.

Our room was large and well-appointed with the accent on comfort and refinement. All meals were excellent – including the afternoon tea with scones and cakes.
The Northfield seems to exude the level of hospitality and charm that existed in a bygone era. We will certainly return.
