I’ve been to The Lowry, a couple of times to see shows, but on this occasion, I went with friends just to look around the art exhibitions. Of course, you need to be a fan of L S Lowry, to enjoy the work, but I’m sure anyone with even a passing interest in matchstick men would be thrilled with a visit here. We had a guided tour, which was very interesting, and really brought the man to life. The Lowry is well worth a visit, it’s free, and there is a café and a shop, and clean toilets.
