Looking for a self catering cottage for 6 people in a country setting we were fortunate to come across The Gaggles and it ticked all the boxes. It certainly lived up to all its claims on the website. The charming cottage in a courtyard setting was beautifully appointed with a large stylish kitchen, a large comfortable lounge and also on the ground floor the master bedroom ensuite and another double bedroom.Upstairs were two bedrooms, one double and a twin with shared bathroom. All rooms had televisions and the furnishings were modern and excellent. There was a very pleasant private garden to the rear and ample parking.!.
There is a great heated swimming pool, sauna and steamroom just across the court yard for private use. Towels provided.
Set in an extensive country Estate we enjoyed some lovely walks down to the lake and being pet friendly, our dog was very excited to be taken on so many!. Herefordshire is an historic county with an abundance of lovely black and white buildings in nearby market towns. We had a nostalgic drive out to Ludlow and Eardisland which are always worth visiting.
The Gaggles really is something special and although our break was only for two nights we came away happy and refreshed. For a peaceful break this pretty cottage with all its first class amenities is highly recommended.
