The Boathouse in Christchurch is a fantastic place to have coffee, breakfast, lunch or an evening meal.
It overlooks the green and the River Avon where you can see swans, ducks and small boats cruising up and down as well as see the local rowing crews.
The service and food here is lovely and there is plenty to choose from as well as the daily specials. They also have cakes and pasties.
A covered veranda with heaters provide a toasty place to watch all that’s happening and enjoy your drinks and food.
Inside they have a restaurant and a bar area that has comfy seats and a wonderful fire.
The team are excellent and ensure that everything is ok with the drinks and food and they are all so very friendly.
If you want to ensure you get a table it might be a good idea to book a table as it can get busy!
