After a quick and easy arrival the day before, I was keen to know whether the departure would be as efficient – and it was. Tbilisi is a relatively small (four gates!) modern building, and progress through security and passport check was quick and easy – again, as with arrivals, well staffed all round. Usual duty-free shops; a beer bar; and the ‘ton ton’ snack bar selling freshly cooked food (which I later regretted not using instead of relying on the onboard snack from Qatar airline!)
