This was our third visit to this lovely self-catering apartment with a bay window overlooking the Thames Estuary. Turner described them as the loveliest skies in all of Europe, and we could see why. We just loved the sequences of cloud and clear sky above the changing tides; sunrise and sunset were the best, but at any time of day you could marvel at the beauty.
The apartment is just across the road from the promenade walk, so whether you go west of east there are walks galore, and coffee shops to keep you going en route. And a gentle walk into Margatret takes a mere 40 minmutes.
