We spent 5 nights at this comfortable old hotel which has amazing views from the restaurant and some bedrooms. We paid a bit extra for a superior sea view room at the front of the hotel, and it was well worth it, and was perfectly located for the lift. Room was a good size, with a very large bed, and en suite included bath and shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice sheets, fluffy towels etc. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Access to the hotel is via some pretty narrow roads, and once there car parking can be a problem, so guests are required to leave their car keys at reception. Breakfast was very good, served buffet style. We only had dinner once at the hotel, which was good value, but my wife is a vegetarian, and the menu offered few options, which didn’t seem to change very often. However there are several good restaurants down the hill in St Aubin. Heated outdoor swimming pool was nice, although it’s a bit cold when you get out in September. Would certainly like to visit again.
