I thoroughly recomend the Somerville Hotel on the calm & beautiful island of Jersey. This 4* country house hotel in the picture perfect village of St.Aubin with views across the bay to St.Hellier the capital was a quiet retreat for 2 nights. Booked with BA flying from Gatwick. Never slept better. Mins walk to bus stop at the harbour side for frequent buses to town,airport and other parts of the island. Buy a daily bus ticket saves pounds and you can hop off & on all day. I travelled this week 4-6th January 2016.
