After a lovely day out to see the daffodils near Oxham my friend and I dropped in to Shire Hall Garden Centre to escape a shower.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked farm shop with local produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses and organic French & Italian wines and local brewed ales.
A lovely cafe restaurant with a small shop attached was also a bonus.
The garden centre is well planned with extensive outdoor area with walk ways through all the plants and an extensive range of outdoor furniture and planting pots and garden accessories.
The staff were so helpful spending time helping me find a Montana Clematis and the right pot for planting it. There was something for everyone, even a gift wrapping counter for early Mother's Day present shoppers.
The Shire Hall is near several other attractions including the historic town of Newent which has added attractions including Three Choirs Vineyard & Restaurant, B & B and wine shop, Newent Arboretum, Newent Lake and Park which allows dogs and Newent Market House and Heritage Museum.
Access to all attractions is conducive to disabled and wheel chairs.
